Katy Dennison

Mountain Therapy Camp Manager

Katy’s love of children began at age 10 when she finally got her wish granted of a little sister! Ever since she has been drawn to children wherever she goes. After graduating college with her BS in Family and Consumer Sciences, Katy has been involved in a career path of helping children and families. Careers with foster care and residential treatment centers, with her longest career choice with Head Start.

When she and her young family moved to Colorado 10 years ago her career path changed to the corporate world of childcare. She then found a great opportunity to work as a Para in the SSN classroom of her children’s school. Here is where her advocacy and love for children and families of children with special abilities really became her passion. After hearing about Adam’s camp from one of her students and after inquiring about the camp from her family, Katy became interested in making a career move.

Katy enjoys the time spent with her family each day. They love to watch TV, go camping, and cook together. The most fun Katy has is going to her son’s soccer games and cheering on the team.

Katy is excited to be a part of the amazing, caring Adam’s Camp team and continue to help spread the word of Adam’s camp all while maintaining the camp’s purpose.
