When a family member has special needs, the entire family has special needs.

The opportunity to learn and grow as an entire family is reliant on having access to the resources and support needed.  As such, here is a list of helpful resources from community partners, supporters, and like-minded organizations in Colorado and the Denver metro area.

Rocky Mountain Human Services is a nonprofit organization that empowers people with the resources they need to thrive, and to live the lives they envision in their communities of choice. With a staff of nearly 500 talented and dedicated employees, we support more than 15,000 Colorado residents through case management and direct service programs.

The Global Down Syndrome Foundation (GLOBAL) is part of a network of affiliate organizations that work closely together to significantly improve the lives of people with Down syndrome through Research, Medical Care, Education, and Advocacy.

Promise Ranch Therapies & Recreation is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization that provides Equine-Assisted Services for children and adults with developmental, physical, social, or emotional healing needs. At our Castle Rock Ranch, they offer Equine-Assisted Therapies and Recreational Activities. Offsite, they offer Supported Employment and job coaching services for individuals with disabilities or neurodiversities.

Developmental Pathways (DP) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and one of Colorado’s twenty Community Centered Boards (CCB) connecting people to federal, state, county, and private funding.  They are also a designated Case Management Agency (CMA) for long-term care services and are Colorado’s largest Early Intervention (EI) provider.  DP helps connect young children with lifelong disabilities to essential resources.

Autism Society creates connections, empowering everyone in the Autism community with the resources needed to live fully.

Autism Speaks is dedicated to creating an inclusive world for all individuals with autism throughout their lifespan. We do this through advocacy, services, supports, research and innovation, and advances in care for autistic individuals and their families.
