Leigh Johnson
With roots as an Adam’s Camp volunteer, Leigh brings 13 years of dedicated service across both Mountain Therapy Camp and Adventure Camp programs. Her passion for supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families shines through in her advocacy work, championing meaningful and independent lives for all.
As a special education professional, Leigh holds a Master of Arts in Special Education and has over a decade of experience working across private, public, and facility schools. Her diverse background includes work as a registered behavior technician under the guidance of board-certified behavior analysts, bringing a deep understanding of effective support strategies to her role.
Outside of work, Leigh embraces life’s adventures, whether discovering new travel destinations or finding peace in nature. When not exploring the world, she enjoys the simple pleasure of reading in a sunny spot or spending a tranquil day paddleboarding. Home is made even sweeter by the company of her beloved cats.
As Adventure Camp Manager, Leigh is thrilled to bring her experience and expertise full circle back to Adam’s Camp. She remains deeply committed to supporting campers as they explore new adventures and unlock their potential, continuing the mission that first drew her to volunteer over a decade ago.
