Adventure, Growth and Connections Await
Our unique programs combine intensive therapy with recreational fun for the whole family. We focus on each camper’s strengths to help them build upon those assets and realize their potentials. Our camp environment allows campers to engage in activities that increase independence, confidence and the courage to try new things.
Early Start Therapy Camps
Early Start sessions are held around the Denver Metro area throughout the year. Teams of four campers with four specific therapists work across five days. This three-hour per day therapy program runs from approximately 8:00 am to 3:00 pm.
Once the therapy day is over, therapists team together, creating comprehensive reports for parents. The team presents these reports to each family during individual conferences on the last day.
There is a training held a few weeks prior to camp, and a goal-writing orientation held the day before camp begins. Early Start teams consist of a combination of Physical, Occupational, Music, and Speech Therapists. Therapists who excel in play-based therapy with children ages 6 months through 4 years make the best candidates for this camp.

Summer Mountain Therapy Teams
Teams of therapists and special educators provide five days of intensive programming designed to create new skills, generalize existing skills, build independence and socialization and, above all, increase self-confidence. Each team is deliberate in their approach to provide intensive therapeutic strategies depending on the needs of the team. Camper-to-staff ratios differ by team. Please see below for a description of each unique team.
Pathfinder Teams
Our Pathfinder Therapists work a 5-5-5 scenario (5 campers, 5 therapists, 5 days). Therapists work on a multi-disciplinary team 1:1 with campers (ages 5-10) from 8:30 am-2:30 pm the first four days and from 8:30 am-1:00 pm on the last day. Within the therapy day, campers and therapists participate in one group activity. Therapists collaborate as a team for 45-60 minutes per camper after the therapy day to discuss strategies and goals and to build individual digital reports. Teams host 45-minute conferences with each camper’s parents on the last day and present their report.
Pathblazer Teams
The scenario is the same for Pathblazer Therapists as Pathfinder Therapists. Pathblazer campers may be older, generally 6-15. Co-treatment, small-group and whole-group work is promoted. There are two-three activities per day, either within the therapy space or out in the community. Hours, timeline and conferences are the same as Pathfinder. Both therapists and special educators work well on Pathblazer teams.
Trailblazer Teams
Our Trailblazer Therapists work on a multi-disciplinary team consisting of 4 therapists/special educators with 5 campers across 5 days with campers ages 8-17 from 8:30 am-2:30 pm the first four days and from 8:30 am-1:00 pm on the last day. Trailblazer Therapists provide therapy throughout an activity-based day, moving campers through their goals while out in community activities. There is one overnight with campers. Therapists collaborate as a team after the therapy day to discuss strategies and goals and to build individual digital reports. Teams host conferences with each camper’s parents on the last day and present their report.
Pioneer Teams
Our Pioneer Therapists work on a multi-disciplinary team that is made up of 3 therapists/special educators with 8 campers ages 9-18. Therapists assist campers in achieving goals toward independence and socialization. Campers stay overnight for three nights. Therapists collaborate as a team after the therapy week to discuss strategies and goals and to build individual digital reports. Teams host conferences with each camper’s parents during the last day and present their report.
Physical Teams
Some of our campers have significant physical needs requiring special equipment and a slower pace. There is a wide range between mild physical disabilities to extremely involved individuals who have limited volitional movement. Therapists/special educators interested in working these teams need to have experience with medically complex children and/or young adults.
Behavior Teams
While most of our campers need some degree of behavioral support, there is a select population that requires extreme structure and proven strategies to participate in and benefit from the therapy week. These campers can negatively impact a team, pulling therapists off their assigned camper to provide more than the usual 1:1 support. Special teams of skilled therapists and special educators who possess experience working with significant behaviors are created to support these campers.
