Sarah (Wolfgram) Grazier, MNM, CFRE
Board Member
Sarah Grazier has 25 years of experience in the nonprofit and public sectors, focusing on strategic program development, grants management, public policy, and operations. She has been involved with the disability community since high school and now serves as a parent advocate. Sarah is the Executive Director of the Colorado Developmental Disabilities Council, which advocates for systems change by promoting meaningful person-centered participation, self-determination, and inclusion for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
During her nearly eight-year tenure with the State of Colorado, Sarah oversaw local implementation of maternal child health priorities, enhanced the delivery of long-term support services (LTSS) across the state, and administered grants totaling over $20 million in annual state and federal distributions to local governments. At the Department of Health Care Policy and Financing (HCPF), her team successfully secured state sustainability for Colorado’s Money Follows the Person demonstration grant, Colorado Choice Transitions (CCT), through legislative action, state plan and waiver amendments, and rule changes. This effort brought us closer to achieving dignity and choice in independent community living.
In her leisure time, Sarah enjoys yoga, running (shuffling), cooking, and gardening. She married her best friend Jim in 2006 and is the proud mother of two amazing daughters, one of whom has an intellectual disability. Both girls are Adam’s Campers and we’re grateful to be part of this community.
