Mission, Vision, & Who We Serve

Our Mission

When a family member has special needs, the entire family has special needs. The mission of Adam’s Camp is to realize the potentials and develop the strengths of children and young adults by bringing together individuals and families with professionals and volunteers to collaboratively provide customized, intensive therapy, family support, and recreation in a camp environment.

Our Vision

Adam’s Camp envisions a world where children and young adults with special needs and their families are empowered with the courage, hope, skills and tools for a lifelong journey of realizing potentials and developing strengths.

Who We Serve

Adam’s Camp serves special needs toddlers, children, youth, and young adults with mild to moderate developmental disabilities and their families.

We are a great match for any individual from infants through young adults with needs related to Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, autism spectrum disorders (including Aspergers, PDD/NOS, genetic syndromes or chromosomal disorders), and other developmental disabilities that affect language, mobility, learning, and/or daily living skills.

Adam’s Camp is not a match for those whose primary diagnoses are emotional, behavioral, or psychiatric disorders.
