Board of Directors

Our Board of Directors is an integral part of Adam’s Camp’s success. It is a working board that provides direction and support for the programs and organization, as well as being ambassadors for Adam’s Camp and our mission.

President, Kellie Newland

Kellie Newland

Kellie is a graduate (PharmD) of Creighton University. She has previously served on the Board of Adam’s Camp, Jr League, and Friends of Warren Village. She and her husband Paul have two children Michael, an Adam’s camper, and Mary. “Our entire family loves Adam’s Camp and the therapy, fun, and social opportunities it provides to campers. We have seen first-hand the value of Camp for all those involved, including siblings and volunteers. The camps offered outside of Colorado are wonderful, too!  My family is blessed to be involved  with the Adam’s Camp family!”

 Vice President, Cindy Wells

Cindy WellsCindy has served on the Board of Adam’s Camp since 2008, but has been involved with Adam’s Camp as a Community Volunteer for many years. Cindy served as the Chair for the Adam’s Camp Spring Event for two years, and is a tremendous ambassador for the program. Cindy and her husband Randy have three active kids, with whom she is very involved as well.

 Treasurer, Clay Waller

Clay WallerClay Waller is an Audit Manager with Eide Bailly LLP and has been involved with Adam’s Camp for about 4 years. Since his involvement, he has been passionate about promoting Adam’s Camp and its mission. In his free time, Clay enjoys golf, travel, and spending time with his wife Angie and children Isabella (4) and Jackson (2). Clay graduated from the University of Wyoming with an undergraduate and Masters degree in Accounting.

 Secretary, Pat Colip

Pat Colip and PaigePat and her husband are the parents of twenty-two year old twins, Meghan and Paige. Paige has developmental disabilities so Pat understands first hand from a family perspective, the support services required to ensure the highest quality of life experiences possible for their daughter and for all these valuable members in our community. Pat brings this understanding to action as a member of the Adam’s Camp family and now returns to the Adam’s Camp Board having served from 2004-2007. Many other organizations also benefit from Pat’s service including Junior league, Aspen Center for Autism, St. Mary’s Academy, Colorado Ballet Board of Trustees, , Board of the Girl’s Alliance and Families First.

 Board Member, Jamie Bailey

Bailey familyJamie has been a part of Adam’s Camp since co-chairing the Spring event in 2014.  Jamie and husband Patrick’s two children, Hannah and Jonathan, have each volunteered at Adam’s Camp.  Hannah, the older of the two, has volunteered several times and even traveled to Adam’s Camp Alaska and Nantucket to provide experienced volunteer support.  The whole family has supported Adam’s Camp in numerous ways and in turn, Jamie says, “The whole family has been touched by Adam’s Camp and the wonderful people.  Being a part of Adam’s Camp is truly a family mission for the Baileys.”

Board Member, Jim Brennan

Jim BrennanJim owns a film and video production company Denver, Colorado. The Brennan  family has been attending Adam’s Camp with their two children, Ian and Isabella since 2003. An ardent advocate for the special needs community in many forums, Jim enjoys writing, reading, agitating and boat rocking.

Board Member, Jeff DePasse

Jeff and familyJeff has been a board member since 2011. He and his family have been attending AC since the Summer of 2008. He is pictured here with his wife, Melina and their children Ally (a 6-time Camper) and son Nick.
“Attending Adam’s Camp has been an annual highlight for our entire family. Ally always loves her therapy team and makes significant strides during the week. We also get to spend quality family time together in this part of our beautiful State”.

Board member, Anna Finlay

Finlay family
Anna was born and raised in the UK where she was Vice Principal of an elementary school.  She studied at Kingston University and Reading University where she applied her interest in children with special needs to complete her degree on the integration of children with special needs into mainstream schools.  Along with husband, Euan, Anna and her family moved to Colorado in 2009.  Anna, Euan and children Mia, Ethan and Freya love Colorado!

Bill Harmon

Bill HarmonBill is a Senior Vice President of Empower Retirement. He and his family have been campers since 2003, and Bill has been a board member since 2006. Pictured with wife Jodi, sons Will (Adam’s Camper), Layton and daughter Amaya.

Board Member, Nancy Lataitis, MD

Nancy Lataitis, MDDr. Nancy Broady Lataitis is a pediatrician/partner at Partners In Pediatrics. She’s the married mother of two teenagers. Nancy has been a supporter of Adam’s Camp since 1988 when she first met Adam and his family through her practice. She and her teenagers have volunteered at several Adam’s Camp therapy sessions. Nancy is an avid sports fan who loves to ski and travel with her family.

Board Member, Sharon Link, Esq.

Sharon Link, Esq.Sharon has been involved with the Adam’s Camp Spring Event for several years and joined the Board of Directors in 2010. She and her husband, Rob, are an active part of the philanthropic community and enjoy the outdoors and watching their three kids play sports.

Board member, Frances W. Owens

Frances, a ColoradFrances Owens, turquoiseo native, brings a wealth of experience to the Adam’s Camp board from her roles forming strategic partnerships and building community relations with the Galloway Group, Arc Thrift Stores and now the Anchor Center for Blind Children. Additionally, Frances’ commitment to Early Intervention, literacy, family support, and to serving those with disabilities is evident through her extensive volunteer accomplishments.
Frances has three children: Monica, Mark and Brett and one granddaughter.

Board Member, Bill Plummer

Bill PlummerBill joined the Adam’s Camp Board of Directors in 2009, just recently retired from his position at First Bank as Executive Vice President. Bill was introduced to Adam’s Camp through Bill Iwata who now serves on the Adam’s Camp Advisory Board. Bill has known about Adams Camp for several years and is very excited about the opportunity to serve on the Board. Bill enjoys outdoor sports including running and biking.

Board Member, James Weise

James WeiseJames has been an occupational therapist with Adam’s Camp since 1993. That first year James came in order to fulfill an intern assignment, but now the Adam’s Camp philosophy is an integral part of his world view. In recent years he has been focusing his attention on Adam’s Camp’s outreach programs, which has him traveling from New Hampshire to Alaska. James lives in Nederland with his wife Deb and their daughter Takira.

Advisory Committee, Janet Elway

Janet ElwayJanet Elway is a familiar name in the Denver community. A graduate of Stanford, Janet held many national records in swimming until an injury cut her career short. She participates in a number of community organizations, but has a special place in her heart for Adam’s Camp. She has served as honorary chair of the family event since 2000, and has opened her home for both fundraising events and programs. The Urban Adventure Camp was based at her home for 2 years. Janet’s first love is her 4 children.

Advisory Committee, Paige Schuster

Paige SchusterPaige is a Senior Executive Hospital Customer Representative with Merck & Co. Inc, and has served on the Adam’s Camp Board of Directors since 2007. Paige has been a wonderful Ambassador for Adam’s Camp for years and has twice chaired the Adam’s Camp Spring event. Paige and her husband Karl love waterskiing and are life-long Sooner fans.

Advisory Committee, Lloyd Sweet, CPA, Partner, EID

Lloyd Sweet, CPA, Partner, EIDLloyd has been an integral part of the Adam’s Camp family for over 15 years and has served twice as the Board President. Lloyd has also served on the Developmental Pathways Executive Committee since 1990 and is the recipient of Frances Owens Family Involvement Award, the Colorado Society of CPA’s 2006 Everyday Hero Award and Adam’s Camp Kevin Taylor Award for Service.

Advisory Board Member, Cathy Wiebe

Cathy WiebeCathy Wiebe is a Community volunteer for Adam’s Camp and has served on the Board since 2003. Cathy is a true “doer” and has been involved in many of Adam’s Camp’s fundraising events. Cathy and her husband, Mark, a well known PGA golfer, host the annual Adam’s Camp Golf Classic. Cathy and Mark’s 3 kids have all contributed to Adam’s Camp as volunteers, making the Wiebe’s a true Adam’s Camp family!
